Remember that summer barbeques don’t have to be messy, clean as you go and ensure safe food handling practices are followed such as handwashing and ensuring that uncooked meats do not come in contact with ready-to-eat foods such as fruit, vegetables or salads. Keep hazardous foods in coolers to ensure growth of harmful bacteria does not occur. Leftovers sitting out at room temperature for more than two hours should be discarded.

Barbeque wisely, eat healthy and enjoy the company!
